The Chief Justice has today released the memorandum she provided to Attorney-General Chris Bishop upon Mr Bishop's appointment to the role of Attorney-General in April 2026. The Attorney-General has agreed to the release of a redacted version of this memorandum. Redactions are made to protect privacy and preserve free and frank communication between the Chief Justice and Attorney-General.
